  • Bonnet Cleaning

This method is sometimes called "dry cleaning", which is a misnomer, since water is used. Bonnet Shampooing is simply an adaptation of hard floor spray buffing to carpets. This method for carpet maintenance consists of the use of a rotary or oscillating brush adapted with a stiff brush or drive block designed to drive wet, damp or dry pads. The carpet can be sprayed with the cleaning solution and/or the pads can be soaked in the cleaning solution and squeezed lightly before placing the pad under the driving brush

    •Dry carpet cleaning methods.

This cleaning method has the advantage of no drying time for interim maintenance, since little water is used. This makes it a common maintenance cleaner. In this method, dry absorbent compound (containing small amounts of water, detergent, and solvent,) is sprinkled over carpet or worked into the carpet with a machine. This purpose of this cleaner is to attract and absorb soil. Mechanical agitation from a brush works the cleaner through the carpet.

    •Encapsulation Cleaning.

Similar to the dry foam method the cleaning solution mechanically lifts the dirt to the surface of a light foam. Then when the carpet’s dry, an acrylic polymer additive in the cleaning solution crystallizes. Then it cracks off the fiber when the vacuum runs over the carpet.

    •Spot Clean for Daily Spills

•Truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction Cleaning.

This method is often call "Warm Water Extraction", "Hot Water Extraction" or "Steam Cleaning" and is the cleaning method nearly all carpet manufacturers and carpet fiber producers recommend.

This is the only cleaning method classified as "deep cleaning". All the others are considered "light surface cleaning" because they are incapable of removing soil deep in the pile. Also, all other methods leave large amounts of cleaning agent in the carpet after cleaning

  • Polishing/Finishing the Floor

Restores shine to finished floors to keep them looking their best. Depending on the traffic and requirements of the facility, buffing or burnishing may be performed anywhere from quarterly (low traffic areas) to monthly (most common on office buildings lobbies and hallways). There are three primary reasons for polishing a floor:

    • 1. Protection: Polish will protect the flooring from the damaging effects of abrasive wear, the embedment of soils, many stains and the leaching effect of frequent cleaning.

    • 2. Appearance: The use of floor polish ( finish) will impart an enhanced appearance and provide a uniform gloss.

    • 3. Ease of Maintenance: The use of polish may allow for the floor to be more easily cleaned.

    Stripping the Floor

Stripping is the process of removing existing layers of all old floor finish, sealers and/or finishes from the flooring surface. A thoural cleaning and rinsing of the bare floor surface, and reapplication of several coats of new floor finish to protect the floor from damage and in result obtain an optimized appearance.

    Scrubbing

Scrubbing and re-coating (also top scrub and recoat) is a general term that encompasses all of the scrubbing service procedures. Scrubbing is the process of maintenance involving removal of a top layer of floor finish, through cleaning the floor and reapplication of finish. Performance of scrub and recoat jobs extends the useful life of floor finish, saving money by reducing the frequency of more costly strip and refinish jobs. Also, scrubbing and recoating is the environmentally responsible alternative to stripping and refinishing, as it minimize the need for harmful stripping chemicals.

    Tile and Grout Cleaning

Like carpet, grout is a porous material that absorbs soil and spills. High-pressure tile cleaning process suctions the dirt from your floor, reaching areas that your mop simply can’t access, including the dirt and grime that hides deep within the pores of your grout lines. Once your tile is clean, a finishing coat of tile sealer is necessary to protect your grout and create a stain-resistant surface. The tile sealer and grout sealer penetrates the grout surface to form a protective barrier against spills and permanent stains.

The Benefits of Green Cleaning

Scientific studies have shown that chemical cleaning products can be harmful to the health of people and animals. Allergic reactions, eye and skin irritations and respiratory problems are frequently attributed to toxic cleaning products. In addition to negatively affecting the health of families, employees and pets, business productivity may also decrease over the long term when employees are consistently exposed to harsh chemical cleaning products.
